Mark your calendar for the 2024 event and come ring in the Christmas spirit at this seasonal community celebration! Returning for its second year, Noel - The Songs
of Christmas is a choral concert featuring well-known Christmas classics and contemporary choral pieces. The music and the messages
they contain are sure to edify all who attend. The concert is presented by community adult and
youth musicians from the Fresno and Clovis area who join together in song to celebrate the "reason for the season" – the birth of Jesus Christ.
The choir performs under the direction of Donny Hockett.

What is the event?
The concert is a one-hour presentation of choir music featuring arrangements of some well-known Christmas favorites focused on the birth of Jesus Christ and the joy of Christmas, including Masters in this Hall, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Silent Night, The First Noel and others, as well as some contemporary choir settings to help usher in the spirit of the Christmas Season. It is not a "worship service", but a performance of uplifting music.
Who is invited?
The event is open to any and all in the community who "Need a little Christmas".
Do I need tickets or reservations?
Admission to the concert is absolutely free and seating is open.
What should I wear?
It would be appropriate to wear what you would wear for an evening out – "business casual" is a suggestion.
Who are the artists?
The choir is comprised of volunteer singers from the Fresno-Clovis area who have been rehearsing for months to bring an enjoyable evening of music. The choir is accompanied by a group of accomplished pianists and instrumentalists from the community.
